Plan the product. Define the local work.

How can I develop this product for my own brand?

Changing a logo or package is different from developing a new shape, size or material. The required factory, order quantity and initial investment depend on that distinction.

Separate the features to retain from those to change. Provide proposed specifications, quantity and budget so that feasible options can be compared with factories.

Discuss my product

A photo or link and an estimated quantity are enough to start. We can review the remaining details together.

01 · Starting information

Prepare what you know.

Use a photo, link or short list. Discuss unresolved details before committing to the order.

  • Reference products and the features to retain or change
  • Dimensions, materials, colors, logo and packaging requirements
  • Initial quantity, target selling price and development budget
  • Sample review date and target production and delivery schedule

02 · Preparation sequence

Confirm each decision before proceeding.

  1. 01

    Define the extent of customization.

Distinguish applying a logo or package to an existing product from developing a new shape or material. A reference photograph does not establish manufacturing feasibility or permission to use intellectual property.

  2. 02

    Confirm each factory's terms.

Check minimum quantities, available modifications, sample lead times and initial tooling or printing-plate charges. If tooling is required, agree on ownership, storage and reuse terms as well as price.

  3. 03

Approve the product and packing separately.

Review function, appearance, dimensions and revisions before confirming production specifications. Approve artwork, label positions and packaging through a separate packing sample before full-scale work.

  4. 04

Retain the approved standards for subsequent orders.

Record specifications, sample versions, packaging files and inspection criteria. Recheck materials, price, quantity and schedule on repeat orders; prior terms do not remain valid automatically.

03 · Cost comparison

Compare the same scope and total commitment.

  • Compare minimum-order commitments and sample or development costs, not unit prices alone.
  • Confirm separate tooling, printing-plate and packaging-development charges, including reuse terms.
  • Where testing, certification or licensing is required, confirm the scope and responsible party before pricing it.

04 · Responsibilities

Know who handles each part.

Seller

Product and business decisions

  • Brand direction, target price and specification decisions
  • Rights to logos, artwork and licensed characters
  • Product and packing sample approval and quotation acceptance

Separate providers and specialists

Specialist work by scope

Design, tooling, testing, certification and artwork responsibilities are agreed separately. NexSupply does not perform all design, manufacturing or rights approvals in-house.

05 · Product listing materials

Describe the product customers will receive.

Prepare the listing from the approved sample and final specifications. The seller or a separately commissioned provider handles photography, design and sales-page production.

Actual use
Show how and where the real product is used, and describe functions verified on the sample.
Dimensions and materials
Use approved measurements and materials, with scale references that help customers assess the size.
Included contents
Identify the items and quantities in each sales unit, separately from any optional accessories.
Differences between options
Match colors, sizes and configurations to actual photographs, packaging standards and label files.
