Preparing for factory production

When photographs are not enough,
start with a product sample.

  1. 01

    Approve sample scope and costs

Agree the specifications to be checked and the sample production and delivery costs. Sampling proceeds under the agreed approval and payment terms.

  2. 02

Receive and check the sample in Korea

We send the agreed product sample. Compare the received product with your required specifications.

  3. 03

    Approve production terms

Confirm the final specifications, quantity, delivery schedule and production quotation. Production begins after approval and payment.

Approved product and processing standards carry forward to reorders. We agree whether another sample is needed; prices, quantities and delivery schedules are reconfirmed and approved for every order.

Inspection in China

“Inspected” is not enough.
Know what was checked, and how many units.

Basic receiving checks

Check the outer packaging and received quantities, and share photographs of goods arriving at the warehouse in China.

Agreed product inspection

Define a sample-based or full inspection and the number of units. Open products and check agreed items such as variants, appearance, contents and operation.

For customer review: photographs of the agreed checks, quantities and any discrepancies found. If corrective work is needed, the proposed action and cost are reviewed before the next step is agreed.

Inspection does not guarantee that every defect will be identified.

The checks and sample size determine what can be detected. Differences from an approved sample or confirmed specification are recorded, and sorting, rework or other corrective measures are discussed.

Labels, sets & packaging

A different sales unit
requires different preparation.

Define the required work, including country-of-origin and Korean-language labels, barcodes, set assembly, OPP bagging and carton reinforcement. Scope and costs are approved separately according to the product, quantities and materials.

  • Label content, design and placement

  • Set contents and sales units

  • Photo approval of a packaging trial, where required

Packaging trial approval is separate from receiving a product sample in Korea and approving production. When combining goods from multiple suppliers, we also check inbound schedules and component quantities.

Coupang Rocket Growth inbound service

From local processing in China
to a Coupang fulfillment center.

Mismatched sales units, barcodes or carton labels may require rework. We align inbound information with processing requirements in China, then share photographs of the completed work before dispatch.

  1. 01

    Confirm inbound information

Check quantities by product and variant, sales units, the receiving center and the required schedule.

  2. 02

    Label and pack

Check, print and apply product barcodes and carton labels, and pack goods into the agreed sales units.

  3. 03

    Dispatch and deliver

After approval of the completed work and dispatch schedule, arrange transport and customs clearance to the designated Coupang fulfillment center.

Information required for inbound preparation

Product details
Quantities by product and variant, and sales units
Label files
Product barcodes and carton labels
Inbound details
The center and planned date assigned by Coupang

Send the confirmed information after product registration and your inbound application. If these are not yet prepared, we explain the required materials during consultation.

Processing and transport costs are identified separately.

Inspection, labeling and packing charges are separated from international freight, customs clearance and delivery in Korea. Processing charges already included in the quotation are not added again.

Processing and freight are quoted for the product, quantities and agreed scope. Current inbound requirements are checked before work begins. Acceptance and timing depend on Coupang requirements and receiving-center conditions.

Storage & dispatch

Agree quantities and schedules.
Confirm the final freight charge.

Compare dispatch options
Compare estimated costs and available dispatch dates for a NexSupply-operated container and a separate container. Select an option according to volume, weight and your required schedule.
Storage and split shipments
Remaining stock and new production can be shipped together, or dispatched in the quantities required. Storage duration, dispatch quantities and schedules are agreed for each order.
After packing is complete
Freight is calculated using actual weight, volume and carton count. Any revised amount is confirmed and approved before payment.
Dispatch approval
We share photographs of quantities, appearance, labels and packing. Goods are dispatched after the customer confirms and approves the shipment quantity, method and schedule.
Product documents and customs
Required materials information, testing, certification and import/export documentation are checked with manufacturers and relevant specialists. The preparation scope and responsible parties are agreed by product.

Changes, exchanges & refunds

If an issue arises,
compare the result with the approved criteria.

Changes to variants or quantities
Changes may be difficult or incur charges once an order is confirmed or production has begun.
Product discrepancies
Record any differences from the approved sample or confirmed specifications. Compare supplier terms, inspection and processing photographs, and order records to determine what needs to be checked and discuss possible next steps.
Additional work and costs
We explain whether a change is possible and the associated cost, then proceed after customer approval. Agreed changes are retained as reference criteria for subsequent orders.

Discuss the requirements for your order

Send a product photo or link
and your estimated quantity.

After discussing the terms with suppliers, we explain the proposed approach by phone.
